Recruitment Process Life Cycle

Gathering Requirements: Made an understanding with the load pattern and client needs. Gathered requirement from Clients, Account Managers and VMS systems. Worked with different clients and MSP using VMS Cox Communication Inc (workforcelogic), The Coca Cola Company (peopleclick), Verizon(fieldglass /insite), AT&T(etemp), Turner -CNN, Fiserv Checkfree (fieldglass), The Hartford (beeline), Mass Mutual (Porcurestaff). Worked on Contract, Contract to Hire (Right to Hire, C2H), Direct Hire; Full Time and Part Time jobs. Worked on mostly onsite contractors needs and few remote work needs.

 

Searching: Utilized various sources that include: job boards (dice monster careerbuilder, jobserve, corp-corp), Social networking Sites (Linkedin, twitter, facebook), Internal database (cbizone, bullhorn, targetrecruit), Referrals Etc. Unitized various techniques that include Advanced Boolean search (AND ANDNOT OR), advance google techniques (googling) by using operators (*~|..+- AND ANDNOT OR). Made search agents, skill folders.

 

 Job Postings: Developed JD (job description). Posted jobs on portals and personal websites. Audited job postings to check if it meets the best job practice standard to avoid EEO issues; made questionnaire forms on dice to shortlist the candidates if they meet the basic experience. Posted jobs in Linkedin groups.

 

Vendor Management: For Corp-Corp deals maintained a database of vendors; updated vendor-list (zoho forms); distributed requirements through (bulk mail sender), managed replies.

 

Screening: Made understanding with technologies. Shortlisted and screened consultants based on job description, checking consultant’s in depth knowledge of relevant technology, functional skills, behavioral attributes, job history, geography, ability to travel, and other relevant qualities.

 

 Negotiation & Rates finalization: Expert in negotiation on Rates & Salary (1099/C2C/W2). Negotiated salaries and rate based on the market research and minimum prevailing wages. Split rates with Perdiem (if applicable). Offered benefits as per company’s standard. Benefits included (Relocation, 401K, Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term disability, Paid holidays).

 

 Authorization & Non Compete: Took authorization from consultant and non compete from the vendors while submitting the consultants to the clients. Followed the patterns that client’s specifically asked for. 

 

Reference Check: Gathered professional references. Setup call with the references and asked them specific questions related to consultant’s performance, behavior and skills

 

Resume Preparation: Analyzed resume, if that fits the client’s expectations. Modified (inserted appropriate key words) and formatted resume (Alignment, bulleting, logo, Etc.) as per the requirement.

 

Submission: Submitted quality consultants to direct clients on different Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Administered pay rate and bill rate based on a set mark-up. Coordinated VMS activities, added new consultant, removed in active consultants.

 

End Client Interview: Arranged end client telephonic and In-person interviews. Checked travel arrangements for out of state consultants. Provided “Interview Preparation guide” to the consultants.

 

Follow-UP: Maintained a regular follow-up with consultants and client to check consultant’s availability and client’s decision. Updated consultants with the current feedback and checked their comfort level to avoid surprising situations.

 

Selection / Rejection: Updated the consultants with the status. Analyzed reason of rejection, improved searching skills with clients input.

 

 Offer Letter / PO: Sent all the relevant information of selected candidate to admin for initiation of paperwork and purchase order, presented PO to companies, involved in discussing the terms of agreements. Presented the offer letter to the consultants. Received signed copy of offer letter along with other relevant documents.

 

Immigration & GC processing: Transferred H1B (while working with Mastech Inc.) Coordinated with the legal department for the paperwork needed for H1b immigration and GC processing. Gathered educational certificates, Experience letter, pay stubs. Checked their current GC processing status (Labor Approval, I140, I485, EAD).

 

Consultant Delivery: Fully responsible for consultant delivery, Ensured consultant starts at client’s proposed date. Maintained communication between HR, Travel and Legal department and coordinated delivery issues.

 

Maintained Relations: Maintained professional relationship with the consultants. Added them in Linkedin, Twitter and other professional networking sites. Checked availability for suitable opportunity. 

 

Bench Selling: Marketed the bench consultants, posted their resumes on different job boards, gathered requirement from market and applied to the jobs on their behalf.

 

Database / Reports: Maintained different data and reports. Used auto generated system reports. Maintained manual daily, weekly and monthly reports. Extensively use MS Excel, google reports and zoho reports. Created Dashboards in Salesforce.
